As an extension of the concept ‘wild urbanism’, we sought to depict how nature would merge with architecture in our renders of an indoor forest that is be constructed in Russia. The spectacular architectural design of a spherical tetrahedron, comprising a concrete and aluminium framework with triangular panes of glass, will house waterfalls and waterways winding through a tropical forest. A wooden walkway supported by steel structures will wind its way up several stories. It will offer various vantage points for visitors to admire the flora, as well as information points and rest areas. Our renders greatly focus on detail. We depict the lighting through the individual glass panels, the sunlight filtering through the vegetation, water falling and the rising spray. We also illustrate how the construction would appear in the landscape, with its surrounding forests, walkways and entrance area. The result is a realistic depiction of an engineering masterpiece that is likely to become a popular tourist attraction.
