For this law firm with a long history, we sought to reflect the professionalism of the team and solidity of the business, as well as inspire trust through the design of its new office in Panorama. The reception area is open yet comfortable. A heavy-set leather couch flanking the wall adds a solid presence, contrasting with the two generously sized upholstered armchairs at the opposite side, separated by a contemporary light wood table. The marble finish on the reception counter and the patterned rug offer a touch of understated elegance. The overhead lighting is unobtrusive, while monochromatic prints of houses that appear to float in white space reinforce the attorneys’ core business. Flowers, arranged in an oversize glass vase, draw the eye to the fresh burst of colour. The kitchen has been set up to give staff a comfortable, modern area to take a lunch break. Ample storage areas and shelving ensure a clean, inviting space can be maintained.
