Brewing beer is a long-standing tradition, so when we received the go-ahead to renovate the Heineken / Namibian Breweries office in Woodstock, Cape Town, we wanted to incorporate some of these elements in the design. This client has multiple brands of beer, so we applied a barley pattern in the office to equally represent them all. We also introduced greenery. While this reflects that beer is a natural product, it also refreshes the largely cool colour palette and softens the strong corporate feel of the office. Handmade artworks by a local wire artist add a personal touch. Overall, we have achieved a clean and professional look and feel.
