For the Chiswick Riverside Virgin Active, our brief was to create an upmarket coworking space and lounge that seamlessly integrates into the Virgin Active lifestyle brand. The design brings subtle touches of the signature Virgin Active red into a refined, neutral palette — striking a careful balance between energy and calm.
Comfort and acoustics were at the forefront of the design process. Soft tones, layered textures, and carefully considered lighting work together to evoke a sense of tranquillity, making the space ideal for both focused work and relaxed social interaction.
The interior ties in with the broader Kauai collection design, maintaining visual coherence across the brand’s hospitality touchpoints. The adjoining kid’s play area was designed as an extension of the adult lounge — playful and quirky, yet durable and functional. The result is a cohesive environment that reflects Virgin Active’s commitment to wellness, community, and design sophistication.
