Designing offices for hugely successful global bunkering company we sought to create a stylish corporate space with room for expansion for their growing team. Using different styles of furniture, colour and mid-height dry walls topped with glass panels, different areas were defined in an otherwise large open-plan space.
Seamless glass panels form the front of the boardroom and a monochromatic image of a centuries old sailing ship on a side wall balances modernity and innovation in sea trade with a sense of tradition. Framed photographs in the reception area reflect the importance of family and allude to the importance of individuals to the company. Low hanging pendant lights create a sense of intimacy, while strategically positioned plants form a decorative feature and soften the environment.
